pregnancy antibiotics are helpful to pregnant woman for any infection
on the urinary tract. Among woman pregnant woman are more prone to urinary
tract infection in comparison to others. During pregnancy there is increase in progestins in woman which in turn results in decreased immunity of the body against the invading bacteria. Some symptotic infection shows symptoms, while on the other hand asymptotic symptoms show no symptoms at all. In some time, asymptotic infection day by day can become symptotic infection. These antibiotics are very effective in the treatment of pregnant woman against urinary tract infection. A single dose of Fosfomycin is also effective in the treatment of pregnant woman with urinary tract infection. Few other antibiotics normally prescribed for the treatment of urinary tract infection in pregnant woman are Erithromycin, Sulfisoxazole, Cephalexin. One of the antibiotic should not be prescribed is tetracycline, which is highly toxic to the fetus. Cephalexin, is an antibiotic which is normally prescribed in the treatment of pregnant woman who is diagonized with phelonephritis. Another antibiotic which is very effective in the treatment of urinary tract infection in pregnant woman is Ampccillin. Pregnant woman with recurrent urinary tract infection can be treated with the antibiotic nitrofurantoin.Normally nitrofurantoin and cephalexin are very effective in the treatment of urinary tract infection in pregnant woman. These two
antibiotics also prevent the recurrence of infection.For the good health
of the pregnant woman and the fetus, the above said urinary tract infection
